Whether you need support for a person whose behaviour is complex, guidance in building a whole-system strategy, or high-quality training for your staff, we’re here to help. We tailor every piece of work to the needs of the people involved – because no two individuals, teams or contexts are ever the same.

Working With Individuals

We support children, young people and adults across home, school, hospital and community settings. While we’re often called in to help with behaviours that challenge, our work is about much more than that. It’s about improving quality of life, fostering capable environments, and empowering the people who live and work within them. Our individual-focused work typically includes:
  • Functional Behaviour Assessments and Analyses
  • Preference Assessments
  • Environmental Audits and Sensory Profiling
  • Person-Centred and Positive Behaviour Support Planning
  • Behavioural Interventions (e.g. shaping, desensitisation)
  • Skills-building for individuals and teams
  • Side-by-side implementation with families and staff
  • Practice leadership coaching
We aim to model the support we want to see – working directly with individuals and the people around them wherever appropriate, and always with empathy and respect.

System-Wide Support

Positive Behaviour Support is most effective when it’s woven into the fabric of a service or organisation. That’s why we also work at a strategic level to embed PBS into wider systems – across schools, residential services, support teams, and beyond. We use a tiered model, adapted from international best practice, to help organisations apply PBS at every level. This includes:
  • Strategy development tailored to your setting
  • Culture mapping and implementation planning
  • Coaching, mentoring and supervision for key staff
  • Ongoing review and capacity-building
The goal is to create sustainable, values-led systems that enable individuals – and those who support them – to thrive.

Training & Development

We don’t believe in off-the-shelf training. Everything we do is evidence-informed, practice-focused, and tailored to the needs of your people. Training is just one part of workforce development – but when done well, it can be transformative. We offer a range of courses and workshops, including:
  • PBS Informed: A 1-day CPD-accredited introduction to the values and key components of PBS. Perfect for staff in any role.
  • Functional Assessment: A 2-day practical course on conducting basic functional assessments to support effective PBS planning.
  • PBS Equipped: A comprehensive 10-week programme combining theory, practice, and implementation support – ideal for those designing or leading PBS plans.
Our training supports the UK PBS Competency Framework (Levels 1 & 2) and helps build the practical skills and cultural mindset needed to deliver high-quality support.

Behavioural Safety

Everyone deserves to feel safe. That’s why we apply PBS not only to reduce behaviours that challenge, but to proactively build safety skills for everyday life. Using evidence-based behavioural strategies, we support individuals to learn essential skills such as:

  • Road and kitchen safety
  • Stranger awareness
  • Absconding prevention
  • Fire safety and emergency responses
  • How to call for help or report harm
We also offer bespoke behavioural safety programmes, such as our water safety curriculum for children with autism – developed through our very own Tia’s doctoral research and real-world testing. These are life-changing, and sometimes life-saving, interventions.

As an independent organisation, we have the flexibility to develop creative, tailored solutions that suit your specific needs.
